Our easy Cruise Life project is the incredible transformation of the old and worn-out Farah cruise ship. The ship used to serve as a passenger ship that transported Egyptian workers from their home country to Jordan. The budget for the refit was extremely tight, due to the philosophy that easyCruise was built around to maintain very low prices for its cruises. As a result, we had to come up with especially smart solutions for the renovation and new arrangement of the ship. A typical example was the absence of false ceilings in the public areas; instead white tensile membranes were used, reminiscent of sails.
